Scope: This policy applies to direct bulk orders placed with Spence Heritage Press LLC for the Young Learners Series and our companion titles. Retail purchases made through Amazon, IngramSpark, or other retailers are governed by those retailers' own return policies — not by this policy.
1. How to Place a Bulk Order
- Submit the inquiry form on our Educators & Parents page
- We'll respond within two business days with a quote that includes pricing, shipping, and lead time
- To accept, reply confirming the quantity and shipping address
A signed quote, accepted purchase order, or paid invoice serves as the order confirmation.
2. Pricing
Bulk pricing depends on quantity. List prices are:
- Young Learners Series volumes: $14.99 USD per copy
- The Day I Remember: $14.99 USD per copy
- Grandma Tells the Story of Juneteenth: $12.99 USD per copy
- Legacy Series volumes (senior readers): $16.99 USD per copy
Discount tiers are provided with each quote and are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote.
3. Payment
We accept:
- Check — payable to "Spence Heritage Press LLC," mailed to the address on the invoice
- Venmo — payment instructions provided on the invoice
- Purchase Order (Net 15) — for schools, libraries, and institutional buyers with approved POs. Payment due 15 days after invoice date.
We do not currently process credit card payments for direct bulk orders.
4. Order Processing and Shipping
- Standard orders ship within 5–10 business days of payment receipt (or PO acceptance)
- Large orders (250+ units) may require additional production time and will be noted in the quote
- Shipping costs are quoted separately and depend on quantity and destination
- We use standard ground shipping with tracking provided
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events beyond our reasonable control.
5. Returns
We accept returns of unopened, undamaged stock within 30 days of delivery.
To return books:
- Email us at info@spenceheritagepress.com with your order number and the quantity you wish to return
- We'll provide a return authorization and shipping address within two business days
- Ship the books, in their original condition, to the provided address. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned stock, we'll process your refund
Refund timing: Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days via the original payment method.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Books that have been opened, written in, colored in, stamped, labeled, or otherwise marked
- Books that have been damaged after delivery
- Custom or imprinted orders (school name, organization logo, etc.)
- Orders for which more than 30 days have elapsed since delivery
- Digital products or downloads (if offered in the future)
7. Damaged or Defective Shipments
If your order arrives damaged or defective:
- Email info@spenceheritagepress.com within 7 days of delivery
- Include photos of the damage and your order number
- We'll send a replacement at no charge, or issue a refund, at our option
8. Order Cancellation
You may cancel an order at no charge before it has shipped. To cancel, email info@spenceheritagepress.com with your order number.
If the order has already shipped, the order will be treated as a return under Section 5.
9. Quote Errors
We make every effort to ensure quotes are accurate. If a pricing or quantity error appears on a quote, we reserve the right to correct it and re-issue. You will not be charged based on an obvious error.
