Placing an order
Direct orders are placed by email to lamont@spenceheritagepress.com with titles and quantities. You receive a written quote first. An invoice follows only once you approve it. Nothing is charged before that.
Payment
Institutional orders are Net 30 from the invoice date. Purchase orders are accepted. A W-9 is provided on request. Individual direct orders are payable on invoice.
Delivery
Local delivery within Westchester County is free. For orders outside the area, shipping is quoted with the order, before you approve anything. Delivery timing is confirmed on the quote.
Returns
Direct orders are firm sale and non-returnable. This is standard for a small press and it is what keeps the volume pricing where it is.
Damaged copies are replaced at no charge. Tell us within 14 days of delivery and a replacement goes out. You do not need to return the damaged copy.
Amazon orders
Books bought through Amazon are fulfilled by Amazon and covered by Amazon's returns and shipping policies, not these terms.
